Working with cardiac rehab and orthopedic
rehab patients as well as conditions such
as osteoporosis, MS, lupus and fibromyalgia.
I have a special interest in working with
clients over 40 years of age and menopausal
women.
Functional, “daily living” exercises
and balance training are incorporated into
sessions, as well as resistance, cardiovascular
and flexibility training.
NOTES FROM MY CLIENTS:
At 5’1” and 180 pounds, I was
eating McDonald’s at least two meals
a day and I got absolutely no physical activity.
My feet hurt and I was constantly out of
breath. Going for bike rides with my husband
was a chore, I hated mirrors, and shopping?
– YUK! I was very overweight, and
very unhappy. I know high cholesterol and
heart disease run in my family, and I was
most certainly at risk with my lifestyle.
But, I had tried dieting, cutting carbs,
cutting fat, and exercising more times than
I can count, and I had failed miserably
every time. I knew I had to do something,
but what if I failed…again? Finally,
I took the huge step of contacting a personal
trainer. That’s when Jane came to
my rescue! She helped me change my diet,
and she started out with exercise slowly
and made sure I was comfortable and did
everything correctly. Something I thought
was going to be very intimidating was not
at all!
Today I am 55 pounds lighter. I’ve
gone from a size 18 to a size 6! (I wasn’t
even a size 6 in high school!) I can walk
stairs and not lose my breath. I can keep
up with my husband on bike rides, and I
love shopping in the same stores as my 18-
year-old sister! I really don’t think
I could have done it without Jane’s
guidance and support.

of healthy eating and reasonable portion
sizes, but no calorie restriction. In ten
